The Weaverbird and the Storm Monkey

A careful weaverbird builds a strong nest before the rains. When a cold, wet monkey suffers during a storm, the bird offers advice about preparing early. The proud monkey feels insulted and destroys the nest, but the bird later rebuilds and learns that advice must be given only where it can be received.

一只细心的织布鸟在雨季前筑好了坚固的巢。暴风雨中，一只又冷又湿的猴子没有住处，织布鸟劝它早做准备。骄傲的猴子觉得受辱，毁掉了鸟巢。后来织布鸟重新筑巢，并明白了劝告也要看对方是否愿意接受。
