Uber to cut over 3,000 jobs in major global restructuring

Uber is cutting more than 3,000 jobs, or roughly 10% of its global workforce, as it removes management layers and combines smaller teams. The restructuring could save up to $2 billion annually while allowing the company to invest more in ride-hailing, delivery and autonomous vehicles.
