Google will now let any AI agent run your smart home

Google Home MCP will let compatible third-party AI agents monitor devices, analyze household data, create dashboards, and perform tasks. The feature initially requires a Premium Advanced subscription in the US, and Google is adding safeguards to address security, privacy, and safety risks.
