Pink light helps broccoli grow

A Swedish study found that broccoli beneath magenta solar panels used sunlight 4.5 times as efficiently as broccoli in full sun and reached the same size, but matured 25 days later. The panels could help farms produce electricity while maintaining crop yields, although further testing is needed.
