The Tale of the Hunchback

A poor porter in Baghdad is hired by a mysterious lady and follows her to a grand house where three sisters are holding a feast. After he, three one-eyed dervishes, and the disguised Caliph Harun al-Rashid are admitted under a rule of silence, the guests break their promise by asking about two enchanted dogs and a wounded woman. Their curiosity leads to the revelation of hidden stories involving betrayal, magic, suffering, and justice.
