The Sleeper Awakened

In this Baghdad tale, Abu Hassan loses faith in false friends, hosts a disguised caliph for one night, and is secretly taken to the palace. After being treated as caliph for a day, he gives sensible orders, helps his mother, and punishes noisy troublemakers before learning that the strange dream was real.
